President / Pre-selections / Public Relations / Marketing / MLC Gala Host

Award winning actor and artist (imdb.me/freddymoyano) with work featured several times by USA Today, who calls Wisconsin his home for over two decades. Freelance Film columnist with the Green Bay City Pages (see mlcproductions.org to access the latest one) and Press Times. Renowned voice over published author/editor, motion picture producer and videographer --the latter focused in wildlife documentary productions. Full time entrepreneur since 2016, running MLC Productions (a content production company), which is part of Moyano Lingua Consulting and Productions, LLC a global English / Spanish content repurposing firm also managed by Freddy, offering translation, text localization, audiobook production, audio mastering and VO recording. Freddy has over 40 documentaries and over 25 narrated audiobooks to his name. As of recently he received 2 major awards at the BAANYs: Gold Award for Best Voice Over Performance (NIPALENSIS) and Silver Award for Best Actor in a Western (Aqua Brava)

Jolee has an extensive experience on stage and off stage. She is a great addition to our team and has experience organizing events. She has been in our team since 2023.

Follow LaTrena's work on her website latrena-mitchell.com Raised in Marvell, Arkansas, a town in the Mississippi Delta Region, LaTrena attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. There she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Masters of Education in Learning Systems Technology. LaTrena has shown great skill and technique in creating engaging dialogues in her work, such as The Eyes of Perfection. Reading her books is like watching a thriller movie and being part of the scene. She is also a script writer for shorts. LaTrena is a great asset to have in our team of MLC panelists.

In her own words: "I am Cassandra Mitchell from Marvell, Arkansas. After graduating from Marvell High School, I attended Phillips Community College University of Arkansas where I received an Associate Degree in Business Management. Later years, I transferred to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received a Bachelors Degree in Management with emphasis in Human Resources and Information Technology. I am currently employed in Little Rock after 20 years of State Government Service in the Information Technology Department with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services; our mission is to prepare Arkansans with disabilities to work and lead productive and independent lives. I have enjoyed watching film and critics, and I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer alongside Freddy Moyano as we premiere films from filmmakers at the MLC and Scene Awards" I am also an Event Planner.

Tony Shalhoub is our guest panelist for the Best Screenplay category on the MLC track (submit on filmfreeway.com/mlcawards). In September 2023 we will announce the MLC Best of the Year winners. Tony will decide on the winner of the Best Screenplay category.

August 31st Afternoon:

2:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Aloft Green Bay parking lot. Interviews with Freddy and MLC Team (not live but we will edit the piece) in the MCL Moby Trailer with filmmakers in attendance of films we could not screen. Or with folks from Saturday who were in attendance, but prioritizing reps of non-screened work. We will edit in trailers at the end of each 10 minute interview segment.

August 31st evening:

Then 4 pm to 7 pm at the Aloft Green Bay lobby:

red carpet, networking time, awards, drawing of basket winners cocktail bar.

Then at 7 pm - 8 pm right out side Aloft Green Bay, parking lot: Instagram live interviews with Freddy/MLC Team by the MLC Moby Trailer with winners.
